Mori’s Fraxel Procedure
Monday, April 28th, 2008
Seeing all the patients that come to our office for Fraxel made me curious about the procedure. As an employee of Dr. Beer and Waibel, I wanted to have the procedure done by the best and so I asked them if I was a candidate. When they told me that I was, I scheduled the procedure for lunch time. After sitting for one hour with some numbing cream on my skin, I had the Fraxel done on my whole face. While a little bit uncomfortable, it was nothing that I could not tolerate and I don’t think that I would have wanted more than the cream or Pliaglis (a topical anesthetic mask that we also use in the office). I went back to working at the front desk after the procedure. Here is what I looked like after one day (I went to work and never missed a day). As you can see, there is a little bit of swelling and some pink skin apparent. After two days, my skin was calming down but I was still a little swollen. People started to ask what I was doing to my skin after a week (see photos) and as you can see, my skin has a radiance and smoothness that it did not have before the procedure.
